SUMMER 2010 -

For the last 4 years we have worked diligently to raise the money and secure land for a home for lone soldiers and have been successful in raising sufficient money and obtaining land to begin building.

Over the last year we have worked with an amazing group of dedicated professionals to plan, design and receive all the permits needed to build and this too has been successful. We are now beginning the final tender stage (where a contractor will be selected). We expect that towards the end of the summer we will be able to begin building.

The building stage may take as long as 18 months.

In the meantime lone soldiers need warm homes !

Over the last few years we have "matched" lone soldiers and families who want to adopt lone soldiers. This has been very successful and the number of soldiers approaching us keeps growing. Over the last month we have placed 3 soldiers with adopting families and have 2 more soldiers who have just approached us.

We are currently seeking 2 families :

A religious family and a secular family, from a city in the Sharon area or greater Tel-Aviv, with a spare room.

Both soldiers are from the US and are going into the army this August. They will be in combat units and need a warm family when they come home for weekends and vacations.

Please let me know if you are interested or know someone who could be interested.

If you are interested and do not live in the Sharon Area or greater Tel-Aviv , please contact us as we have soldiers who may need homes in your area in the near future.
